"New" hair

So I finally did it... Took those dang extensions out.  I don't like the world to know I wore fake hair (its actually real hair but you know what I mean) so facebook just got a picture and well the blog always gets the juice.  I've had those suckers in for 3 years (obviously given them a break here and there) AND its so depressing not having them in! I feel like a cancer patient! (no offense)... But I am planning on keeping them out for awhile.. We will see :)  I just can't handle baby soft hair.. it flies everywhere and its just annoying! But here ya go here's the picture

A Great Lesson Learned

Lola
Today while I was watching my sweet Lola and her fun brothers I learned a huge lesson! So here's the story... We went out to the Play Factory and had a fun time playing and I literally wore the kids out they were exhausted! On our way home I wanted to get food in there system because I was afraid Andersen would fall asleep and I knew he was starving. So I stopped by the nearest chick fila and we all got out and went inside. Keep in mind they are exhausted! Lola and Austin went straight to the play section while I ordered food and they came out as soon as the food came out.  Well Lola had a sucker and she dropped it on the ground and it broke... OH NO.. she got so sad and had a melt down! Everyone is just staring as it just kept escalating and right when I would get her calmed down she would start hitting Austin's back so hard (lol tried not to laugh) and then I would tell her no and she would get even more mad! So I got the 2 boys situated and I got Lola to come to the play ground with me trying to distract her and calm her down. Well she does get calmed down and she decides to run out because she was over playing.
Well as I am chasing her I pass this couple in there 50s and their son who was probably like 17 and I hear "those are the most disbehaved children I've ever seen" under their breath.  Oh My Gosh I was MAD!  UGH I was seriously like shaking from being so mad.  AND I just gave them the most evil look! Haha! The whole time I'm thinking how dare you judge and assume! Luckily Austin and Anders were done at this point so we cleaned up and left.  It took EVERYTHING inside of me to not stop and tell those people off! After loading the kids up in the car I kept thinking about this and kept thinking NO that was not okay especially to be saying stuff like that around your teenaged son.  And something inside of me soften and I knew what I could do!
I searched the car for a piece of paper... found a receipt and pen! And I wrote them a NOTE lol it said "I just want to kindly let you know that this sweet little girl who I love so much has autism. I am  asking that next time you be more careful before you judge or assume. THX! (signed) With Love" And we handed it to them with smiles and soften eyes and said have a good day!
It was a great lesson to me to just take a deep breath let the spirit re-enter and it will guide you to do and say the right things.  I know these people were taught a great lesson not to be quick to judge and I know they were not offended because they smiled and waved to us as we left the parking lot.

I've been thinking about this situation since it happened and have thought about all the times I've been quick to judge and assume.  I've judged the slow driver thats driving me nuts when she may just have gotten in a fatal accident and is now terrified of driving. Or the mother screaming at her kids at the grocery store when she could be suffering from her husband leaving her to be a single mom. Or the teenaged girl pregnant when she could have been raped. Or the homeless man on the corner begging for money when he is suffering from loneliness and abandonment.  Or the raggedy lady at Walmart who hasn't showered in days when she could've just lost her baby.  Or the girl that wears layers of make up when she feels no confidence in herself.  Or the quiet "conceded" girl at the party when she is actually just shy and gets nervous in big social settings.
We never know a person's situation and should never be quick to judge or assume.  It is going to be one of my goals this year to keep an understanding, loving heart and be listening for the spirit to guide me to act or speak accordingly to better every situation.  I know if we all do this we will be blessed and we will also bless lives.

We Wish You A Merry Christmas

MERRY CHRISTMAS!  We had such a great Christmas this year filled with love, laughter, yummy food, and family! Christmas has always been my favorite time of year. I love the spirit of peace and love that's all around and the spirit of giving and selflessness just like our Savior.  Mosiah 2:17 kept running through my head this season as I was looking for opportunities to give whether it be financially, or with fun presents. I kept feeling so so blessed to have a financially stable family, good health, great job/s, and great opportunities to be of service.  Thats what the celebration of the birth of Christ is all about! Merry Christmas!

This is the video text we made and sent to family and friends!
Braxton on Tanner's snow board (Christmas eve)

It is tradition that we get pajamas on Christmas eve. My Mom decided to make pajamas for everyone!
Braxton and Merek left before we took the kids picture so here's their cuteness!

Wouldn't expect anything less than boys showing off their muscles!

We are still laughing that Ryan's material is music notes haha my mom had no idea! she thought they were just squares! Ryan is probably the least interested in music in our family! haha  It's okay mom we know they were made with love!

Finally Christmas morning!

Opening their first presents!
And there's that 50cent bra!
Dad opening up his kindle fire...

SURPRISE! He was so so happy!

And YES I got my bike woohoo! And this luggage I've been wanting!

ALMOST FORGOT THIS! this is Ryan riding out with my surprise! try not to laugh... hahaa

I didn't get pictures of Branden and Donivans X-BOX and Kinect. They were VERY excited and it has been on all day long! We got some super fun games. It's going to be a party at our house! I also got lots of different bedding for my bed! My parents are on the mission with me to help me get a better sleep and bedding that doesn't KILL my neck! We'll see how these pillows work out.  Tanner got a snowboard and lots of snow gear.. the whole time I was thinking YUCK. Not a fan of snowboarding and also not a fan of the cold and getting wet from the snow! He was thrilled tho. And Ryan... well Ryan just got a bunch of randomness. It stinks growing up!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Christmas shopping!

Well I decided to be the COOL big sister and take the little dudes for the day. We had so much fun! We went Christmas shopping and bought some crazy, silly presents for everyone (gotta love the dollar store!) The boys worked so hard to earn their money and it was so sweet to watch them pick out gifts for each other and the rest of the fam.  We sure had lots of giggles. We bought mom a 50cent bra.. you do the picturing! The boys thought it was PERFECT and so so funny!.. I actually think I laughed harder and the people around us must of found our present taste quite silly because they all thought it was super funny too! And then we went to lunch and then did more shopping and went to sonic to get drinks and got a car wash and then did more shopping! The mall was absolutely insane BUT I scored a close parking spot right by the store I needed to go to! That never happens! But  anyways, we got 2 cute pictures captured while in the car... cant wait to post pictures of Christmas morning!

perfectly said

One of my friends on facebook posted this and it is so perfectly stated.  The Lord works in mysterious ways and answers prayers in ways you would never expect it.  Something like this could be taken so many different ways and honestly every time I read through it I take or feel something different every time.  I loved it and wanted to document it.

Unless your heart, your soul, & your whole being are behind every decision you make, the words from your mouth will be empty, & each action will be meaningless. Truth & confidence are the roots of happiness. Often times we distort the truth to fit what we want to believe, the key is to be honest with yourself, understanding with another, & willing to change what needs to be changed. Got to always always be true to you.

I just love the last line... The key is to be honest with yourself, understanding with another, & willing to change what needs to be changed.  That is the HARDEST thing I think I've ever had to do emotionally. I better buckle up because I'm just at the beginning of this stage of life. Yippee

WICKED's coming! And I think its time I see it for a 5th time... What do you say? February get here already!
PS.. this is an old picture Yikes!

Gotta keep your eye on the prize!

Took a drive one day to remind me and a friend what we are really searching for!

Where has the time gone?!

Can you believe it is already DECEMBER 12! Holy Heck! I still have hardly done any Christmas shopping! And if it wasn't for people like this, I'd probably forget it even was Christmas
The old ladies wear their sweaters and the old men where their Santa Outfits... I'm just diggen that blue hat too!

I'm awful!

So now we are way into December and I never finished my thankfulls! haha so I still want to do them anyways! So I left off on 13 so...

14:  I am thankful for trials and obstacles in life. I know Heavenly Father places hard things in our life to teach us faith, obedience, and patience.  Eternity is a long time and one day, one week, one year is so small compared to eternity, but the lessons we learn from each trial will stick with us for the eternitys and that is why we are here.  I am so grateful for my testimony and so grateful for a Father in Heaven who is mindful of me and continues to help me become better each day.

15:  I am thankful for jokes, and funny things on youtube.  I like to laugh!

16:  I am thankful for kids! I love kids so much and love getting to work with them.  Can't wait to have kids of my own.. oh and ps I want 6 ;)

17:  I am thankful for boys!

18: I am thankful for hot baths and showers

19:  I am thankful for my mom who is the strongest woman I know! I love her so much

20:  I am thankful for the 2 little terds in the family Branden and Donivan. They bring so much excitement and energy to our family.  With out them life would be boring!

21: I am thankful for music... Music will ALWAYS set me mood.

22: I am thankful for my dad.  My dad is such a humble, hard working man and I love him so much! There is no better man out there than him!

23: I am thankful for temples.  I am grateful to know my family is sealed for eternity and that I am also sealed to my Heavenly Father through the temple covenants. I can not wait to go through the temple!

24: I am thankful babies.  Babies bring such a warm, sweet spirit.

25: I am thankful to live in a free country.

26: I am thankful for my best friend Delaina! She is my sister and we are connected to eachothers spirits! Life would not be the same with out her!

27:  I am thankful for where I am in my life.  Looking back a year ago and then 2 years ago and then 3 years ago, its amazing how much I have grown.  My testimony has increased tremendously, my confidence, my wants and desires.  I know who I am and I am grateful every day!

28: I am thankful for prayer.  Prayer is real and it is therapeutic and it is humbling.  I thankful to have a loving merciful Father who hears and answers my prayers through His will and His timing.

29: I am thankful for the spirit and for the peace it brings into my life.

30: I am thankful for my testimony.  I know I am a daughter of God.  I know I have a Savior who lived and died for me.  I am so grateful for the prophet and apostles and their inspiring words and their testimonies.  I will never forget the day and talk by President Eyring that built the foundation for my testimony.
