Full of thoughts

So it has taken me all week to sit down and blog and alot of things have happened that I want to catch up on! This may sound like some sob stories but I want to remember some feelings and emotions I've had.  So ignore if you dont want to hear.

I have realized life is a constant roller coaster and if your like me well you love roller coasters. I love the thrill, the adrenalin rush, the ups and downs, the sharp turns and finally that nauseous feeling you get when you step off haha So I'm using the analogy of roller coasters to describe my life but in a good way.

This stage of life is a thrill.  I love how excited I can get over the littlest stupidest things.  Me and my bff Delaina talk about how genuinely happy we are all the time! And how easily excited we can get over just the thought of something.  Isn't that how life should be? I'm so grateful to be able to feel happiness and to recognize the thrill of life and see the path and blessings the Lord is placing in front of me.

The adrenalin rush.  This seems to occur in me more than I'd wish. This adrenalin rush usually leads to doubt which is never good i know!  Sometimes I get to worked up about certain situations or I read into it to much or I just get stupidly nervous over dumb things! but feeling that adrenalin rush sometimes is humbling and sometimes is what I need to feel to see whats placed before me.  Its my wake up call if that makes any sense??

The ups and downs... I'd call you a liar if you said your life was steady all the time.  Its life its never steady and I truly believe Heavenly Father doesn't want our lives to be steady all the time because that means we are not progressing and we are in life to progress aren't we?  I have been hit with lots of downs lately and it is not fun! But I have come to the conclusion that we are who we are by our weaknesses not our strengths.  It is how we respond to our weakness that build our character and defines the person we are.  I like to be strong and invincible.  But thats not the Lord's plan.  And the more I try to hide and run, the longer it will take me to grow and experience what I need to experience! Yes.. alot of times it hurts and it hurts bad! But I am so grateful for the support system that I have! I have the most amazing family in the entire world. My parents are my best friends! And I have the greatest friends in the world! So bring on the ups and downs!

The sharp turns:  haha oh the sharp turns in life! Sometimes I wonder where the heck you came from! Sometimes these sharp turns are blessings.. Like a job offer I just got for Campo Verde HS woo hoo! but where'd you come from??! Or the loss of one friendship and the gain of another.. Where'd that come from?  I do not like change! It stresses me out actually! But I'm learning that no matter what.. the Lord has me in mind and He will continually bless me!

The nausea feeling: you know what i'm talking about!  Sometimes you get hit with information and your stomach goes in knots and you just think your gonna throw up! Life's full of that! And I am so thankful I have the ability to feel! To feel happy to feel sad to feel stressed to feel excited.  The ability to choose is such a gift and I am grateful I am choosing to live life and not be invincible!

Like I said this may sound like a sob story and I might be embarrassed later on for sharing this to the whole world! But life is good! And I think often times we find ourselves trying to impress and trying to appear perfect.  Lets be honest.. We are all alike and we all go through the same things! That is why we are all here together!

Summer Favs!

One of my favorite things to read on blogs is seeing everyones favorite products! So what the heck I'm gonna share my favorite summer products!

Moroccan Oil is pretty expensive but it is the best! Definitely worth your money and it lasts quite awhile! It retails around $30 I believe.  

 K so I have always been a cheap moisturizer girl but my friend introduced me to this Clinique gel and let me tell you it is AMAZING! I always hated how sweaty and shiny moisturizers made my face so I would try to never wear it. But we know how dried and burnt our faces get in the summer so I was left with no choice.  This stuff is awesome. Another more expensive one but this too last forever. A little bit goes a long way! :)

 So if you didn't believe me with my cheap comments believe me now... this covergirl bronzor has worked wonders for me! Gotta be careful because it can go on very dark. But I use a big thicker face brush, give a little dab, put it in the lid and circle my brush and then apply. I like it. It does the job. And its cheap! retail $6.50

MAC Honey Lust eye shadow! We all catch ourselves in that hurry to get ready and most of the time just dont have time to apply all sorts of eye make up on! I love the mac honey lust eye shadow because I can apply this by itself and its so pretty and shimmery and settle! This is a must have!

 This Pink fresh & clean spray is me and my moms favorite! Its such a refreshing smell and is so nice after spending all day outside, you feel so gross and sweaty so you take a shower and then finish lathering yourself with this spray! love love love it! you can get it at Bath and Body or Victorias Secret. retail $15.00

 Daisy by Marc Jacobs is my signature secret perfume! I get so many compliments and people ask all the time what I am wearing. I decided not to be selfish and share this product. It lasts all day! and its a striking smell. Definitely a keeper!

Johnson's cucumber melon lotion is bomb! I lather myself in this and its so wonderful! Good luck finding it because both Target and Walmart are always out of it! When I can find it I get so excited! Its a great lotion and has the soft refreshing smell. I'm not a fan of strong lotions so this is perfect for me! It also doesn't leave you sticky and I hate sticky lotions! I'll stick to this stuff!

 Shampoo! AAGH! I'm obsessed with this new shampoo. Everything about it is just crazy good! I found it during that in between time of having to wait for my friend to pick up shampoos for me at the store only cosmos can purchase at and being completely out of shampoo. I actually love this more than any other shampoo I have used and I have used alot of them! AND you can get it at walmart even better! I actually like the Color Shine one (its red instead of orange) but I couldn't find a picture of that one. But it does a great job at conditioning my hair keeping it soft and shiny and it smells so good! I'm guessing the retail is around $4.00 

Last but not least! Anyone who knows me well knows this store is my all time weakness.  I can always find something I love in this store its quite frustrating actually.  But let me tell you I look for the cheap stuff! My favorite skinny jeans were $9.00 here! yep thats right I'm a bargain shopper! And any shirt you've seen me wear I'm tellin ya has been under $15.  I love this store and its a good place to go to when you're in a hurry to find that perfect outfit!

Today is just a happy day! FINALLY got to see Harry Potter which was AMAZING i must say.. FINALLY got my phone from the stupid insurance company.. and FINALLY got a date! yes yes..  its a great day.

In case you didnt know... washing machines are no bueno for your cell phones! Gaaah so heres the story.. Woke up on a wonderful Saturday all ready to do some chores and clean my sheets my favorite thing to do on saturdays! So I gathered my sheets put them in the washer put some things away and was ready to take off to run some errands... well I couldn't find my phone anywhere! I looked and looked for a good 20 min! Then I had that sick stomach dropping feeling that I put it in the washer with my sheets.. so of course I dig thru the washer loaded with water on its second rinse cycle and theres my phone wrapped in the sheets. It was laying on top of my bed and when i bundled them all up that phone slipped right on it... SO needless to say I have been one very sad girl! I've been dealing with stupid Asurion the phone insurrance company thru verizon and they have been AWFUL I wont even get into that story! But if you ever need to vent about Asurion you can come to me because I will not hold back my opinion of those people! So anyways its been almost a week and I still have no new phone! Sad sad week! The end.

So I finally did it... the facebook is gone! :( I realized I spent WAY to much time on that thing and it was controlling my life! So i decided to take a break for a LITTLE bit... I'm telling myself one week :) haha The main reason is just to test myself and see how I feel this week with better prioritizing my life. You know instead of being on facebook for 45 min at night I can read conference talks and other articles and read my scriptures more. We'll see how this goes. Just dont make fun of me when I do reactivate it in a few days! :D For now.. Good Bye Facebook!

Ashleys Married!

Ashley is finally married! She was such a beautiful bride and her reception was AMAZING! I just wanted to stand there and stare for hours at all the decorations. They did such a good job and it was exactly how I pictured it because it had ashleys style written all over it! What a happy day! I wish I had taken pictures of the set up but I didn't... so here's just one of me and the cute bride!

Ashleys getting married!

I cant even believe my best friend Ashley Wengert is getting married!! I am so so excited and happy for her. She is going to make such an amazing wife that Lamar Taylor is one lucky boy!  Ash has been such a selfless, giving friend and as sad as I am to have to her share her ;) she deserves this happiness more than anyone I know! We went to Oreganos to celebrate her last week of being a bachelorette! It was so fun catching up with girls I haven't seen since I graduated! I love all these girls and we had such a fun time!

How many blondes does it take to vacuum a rug?

My best friend's family is moving to Texas and desperately was calling for any help they could get since they were at the 12 hour deadline with still so much to do! Being the best friends we are ;) we all headed over and had a blast packing and cleaning! BUT yes this picture is for real.. could you say I desperately called for help? It literally took the 4 of us to vacuum this rug! It gave us a good laugh!

Saving My Life

These 3 fruits have definitely saved my life the past week and will continue to save my life for the next 5 weeks! Thank you strawberries, apples and oranges! You are delicious!

Time to Time to Blaaaasum!

I had an amazing opportunity to be a counselor for Time To Blossom which is a young womens conference for girls 11 - 16.  Girls from all over Arizona attended and it was so neat to see these girls blossom in just a week! The every day itinerary for the week = 6:30 am counselor meeting, 7:00am devotional with our girls, 8:30 bus to evit, 9:30 first speaker, 11:00 second speaker, 12:30 service, 2:00 lunch, 3:00 third speaker, 4:30 fourth speaker, 6:00 dinner, 7:30 dance party, 9:00 bus back to hyatt, 9:45 night devotional, 11:00 lights out.  To say we were all exhausted would be an understatement! ;)  but it was the best getting to know each girl on such a private and personal level and to hear of their insecurities, needs and desires from day one and then to see them completely transform by the end of the week.. These girls are such motivated girls to always do what is right and it was so inspiring to me! Never did I have to ask for cell phones to be put away, or for notes to be taken, or for mouths to be shut. They were all there to learn and to grow and to feel the spirit and how amazing is that for 14 year old girls? The last day I was able to hear of some miraculous "blossoming" moments from some of the girls and it testified to me the miracles, power, and teaching that comes from the spirit and also from the desire to seek to be better!  It was such a neat experience and I am so thankful I had this opportunity!

Fourth of July was epic this year! I had such a blast going to tumbleweed park with all my friends and watching the amazing fireworks show! Why is it that fireworks scream "Too bad your single!" YES YES I was wishing I had a cute man to snuggle up to, but I couldn't have asked for a better night! I love all my friends mucho! And what a fun time we had!
