We planned on leaving at 9:30 pm Thursday night. But who actually leaves on time on vacation? We didn't leave until 11:30 pm. Good thing I am a night owl and I was planning on driving all night! The car ride went smooth except Brittany decided she wanted to get sick. Half way there and out of complete no where, she tells me to hurry and pull over that she was going to throw up! I was like what the heck since when? and was like seriously? I soon realized she was very serious and I hurried and pulled over and well this happened.
Good thing after the throw up all was good she was back to health!
So as I'm driving the cliffs I thought, Brittany when was the last time you got your tires and breaks checked? and she told me how it was probably time that she get her brakes checked when we get home. Didn't think anything of it after that. Just drove safely.
Friday morning, we sleep in till 11:00 (of course because we didn't get in till 4:30) and we decide to go to the beach! We go to the beach around 12:30 and its FREEZING! the weather was nice but SanDiego I think is always just a little cold. So we didn't stay as long as we hoped people were complaining so we left.
**we take a wrong turn end up on the freeway and Get in a CAR ACCIDENT. really?? best part it was a 4 car pile up and all started with Brittany! BAHA! we know how to do things right. Go big or go home right? So here are pictures of the car accident. The positives, We made some new friends (people in the other car) I got to hitch hike on one of the busiest freeways, AND our police officer was GORGEOUS. He was like the most charming smiley man I've ever witnessed. Ya good day.

Brittany was on the phone for like 3 hours with the stupid insurance company and we find out we can't get a rental car until the next morning. So we were stuck in the condo (tow truck guy dropped us off) and couldn't go anywhere. Ya so there went our whole night out on the town!
Then the rental car people were 2 hours late picking up Brittany and we didn't get the car until 12. We had a whole morning planned and beach planned so we could get some fun in before going home but they ruined that too! so she gets back with the rental car and we load up and head home.
***hour and a half outside of SanDiego our rental car starts breaking down. YA terrible! it stop accelerating! We are going up this hill started at 90mph and dropped all the way to like 55mph and even on the straight rode couldn't get it to accelarate. So we pull into some ghetto gas station call the rental car company and they said they wouldn't be able to get a new car to us for like 3-4 hours bc they had to bring it from the airport. YA NO! there was NO absolute way I was sitting there for 4 hours and they are always hours later than they say! So I convince Brittany to keep on going and just push our luck. Well we barely made it we just went extremely slow at times lol.
*** Kay so 2 miles outside of Maricopa I am driving and I get pulled over! UGH! An Indian girl cop walked out and I knew I was in trouble no way of getting out of it. I am just LAUGHING and Brittany is balling. See I wasn't supposed to be driving bc I am not 23 and the rental car is under her name. I was laughing bc literally NOTHING more could go wrong. I get a $287 ticket. I was going 77 in a 55. I didn't even know the speed limit dropped to 55! I was going 95 a mile before and then I slowed down when I saw her sitting there. Glad I saw her! LOL sucks but its just one more thing to add to the list of this great weekend!
SO point being. Think twice before you choose to take a nice relaxing vacation! It might turn on you! LOL.... seriously great memories tho!!
