Really Do!..

SO I really do want to be a carpenter and designer. Everyone has been teasing me non stop and doesn't believe me but I can totally see myself building houses and building random things! I really want to learn how to make it all and I'm willing to start from square one like framing houses or something LOL.. no but seriously.  I can't wait to get going on this. Job hunting now... Oh and my accessories I mean TOOLS will look like this...

Decided to end this month of "love" with all the things I love so much! haha

Lets be honest I love all candy and am always eating candy. Can't even say its disgusting because its not. Its good.

So these are just some of my loves right now! I feel like I'm turning into the most boring person ever! I need to get some more excitement in my life! Who said growing up is fun? :) just kidding I love growing up.

saving graces!

Tonight I realized how grateful I am for my many talents and also realized how much of a release and a peace they bring into my life!

I was shooting around then shooting free throws and theres just nothing better.  Its such a release!  I could shoot around all day and night! I love this sport!

Then right after I went and played around on the piano and then taught and I also was grateful for that spirit and peace that surrounds me when I play and sing hymns.  Growing up my mom would always have one of us kids play hymn arrangements through out the dat or would have the cd going because she always said hymns bring a special spirit into the home and she couldn't be more right.  My parents home has such strong spirit and I am so grateful for it.  The other day while I was nannying, I just needed to be at home.  I needed to feel the warmth, and peace of my home.  So I loaded up the kids and we spent a few hours at home!  Thats something I hope I can learn and take from my parents some day!

this is what happens when I get stressed to the max and need some control! I don't think I can ever shift over to technology calendars and schedules completely. I need to see it all laid out in front of me on paper and in my hand writing! I love seeing the to do list crossed off! Thats accomplishment!

VDAY!

As much as I don't totally care for Valentines Day... it ALWAYS turns out to be a great day!

I am not a super romantic person, I get super embarrassed with romance. I'd rather be goofing around laughing then being all "serious and romantic". BUT it warms a girl's heart and gives her much needed confidence when she receives praise and acknowledgment and I was so grateful and proud of the boys who took time to send a simple text in recognition of valentines day. That right there melts me!

I have the BEST brothers in the world! I got a text from Michael asking if I could do lunch (I was working boo!) and then I got sweet textes from my other brothers. They are so so good to me! I love being their only sister! :)

THEN... I got roses from the sweetest dudes. I don't deserve to have so much love given to me!

AND THEN I went on a fun date with Tyler.  It was so great to just have a simple night out and to be treated like I'm the only thing that exist in the world.

Since its valentines eve I wanted to write about all my best friends and why I love them so much and why they are so important in my life.

Delaina Dowdy aka D... she is my rock! This girl is my sister, my other half literally! I don't know how I lived 20 years with out her.  She has taught be so much, she brings me so much strength and wisdom and I'm so grateful for her honesty, and her sensitivity and for all the love she has for me.  We are girly! I love having a partner in crime (crime to the wallet right D? lol)  I love our spends, and our dinner dates, and pita jungle lunches, and our movies, and our fb blow ups, and any and everything you bring into my life! I love my sister and best friend!

Kelsey Lopez aka Keltss... This girl and I LOVE our juicy convos! haha we can talk all night long about the randomest weirdest things all night!  This is the girl I go to when I just need to hear "its going to be ok" even tho it might not necessarily be ok haha.  She has the kindest personality and knows how to make a good time even in the dullest moment! I love this girl. I love our chats. I love our work outs. I love our instant connection. And I love sharing clothes. Love my Keltss

Kimberly James aka Kimberly MICHELLE James: This girl knows how to shop, dress, and style any and everyone! I had my shopping addiction under control before she stepped back in my life and well we can do some serious damage together! Kimberly is special because she's been in my life since 4th grade! We were instant Best Friends all through elementary school lost contact in HS and reconnected after graduation.  I am so grateful for this girl.  I love how she'll entertain any over analysis with me, she entertains my pity parties, and she just "understands" and sometimes thats just the best thing to have is someone who just understands! She is amazing friend and I love having her in my life! We sure know how to giggle!

Ashley Lindblom aka ASH... This girl is a spiritual giant! She has been my best friend since 7th grade and was my everything in High School.  Ashley has always been such a great example and always led me to act the right way. Whenever I wanted to pick a fight she always reminded me to be the better person and that it wasn't worth it.  She is the most innocent person I've ever met and I love her purity and her self worth.  Bible I have never heard one bad thing come out of her mouth! She is always so positive and so kind and loving to everyone and is always full of service.  I'm grateful for her love and for her friendship!

Shelby Welker aka Shelbs.. and yes this picture explains her perfectly! Me and Shelby were tied to the hip all through High School and even though we have lost some contact since graduation me and her can always pick right back up and have a party! She is hilarious, oblivious, ditzy, but she'll shock you at how book smart she is! LOL. love her wildness and her G.A.S. attitude! lots of fun memories with this girl!

Michael and Tessa. These two I had to put because I am so grateful for them! I am super close to these two and Tessa is that sister I always prayed I would get!  I go to these two for any and everything and I'm so grateful they are my family!







Every girl needs best friends! It makes me sad thinking of those girls that just don't really have anyone super close to them! I'd die with out my besties! I love them!

YIPEE

Me and my mom went shopping for dresses for Ryan and Kileys wedding today and I got so lucky! I thought I was going to have shop all day long but I scored on the first store (Dillards I was shocked actually never get lucky there) and I found like 6 dresses that worked so it was hard to decide on! Thrilled thats over with...

K and boys are so nasty! Last night I babysat Branden and Donivan so my parents could go out (if we're being honest here.. I told the babysitter he could go home because I'm a loser and had no plans for the night lol) and we had SO much fun!  while we are playing kinect Branden itches his bare butt and I told him Branden get your hands out of your pants! Well THEN he SMELLS his hands and fingers! WHAT THE HECK boys are so nasty!!  dont worry girls I gave him a long long talk on how girls will think he's weird gross creepy and disgusting and he wont have any friends if he does that! NOT OKAY! lol 

What a week!

Today I have kept thinking of how important it is to cherish everyday and every moment! I know sounds totally sentimental and cheesy but life can an will change with just a blink of an eye and sometimes all you're left with is memories and or regrets. Gotta love life! And also be prepared bc when it rains it pours! Lol what a week.. Glad its coming to an end. <3

#annoyance

Something that just gets to me every single time is when I have to open a new gallon of milk. Does that not annoy anyone else?! Specially since now they have those plastic cover things inside the cap that are like impossible to tare off.. AND my mom keeps the extra gallons in the other fridge so I have to walk ALL the way over to the other fridge.  I don't even like milk! I just like my cereal. I'm just sayin it annoys me way to much!

So I finally did it! I went in for my laser hair removal consultation this morning at 6am and I got it all scheduled. I am excited and so so nervous.  Thank you for strong numbing creme.. who am I kidding that aint gonna work good enough.  It will all be worth it right?!

My skin is going to be as smooth as a babys butt.

A Moment of Strength

I have decided that I really do have to learn the hard way and suffer serious consequences before I finally fully understand and accept circumstances.  I KNOW I make Heavenly Father shake his head every single day for making stupid mistakes and reacting in ways that I do.  I am such a sensitive girl.. I've always been sensitive but lately I have been sharing it with the world and its been killing me how much it can hurt someone. There really is a fine line and balance with sensitivity and of course I learn from a breaking point where that balance lies.  I sit here and wish I wouldn't have done this or said that or reacted this way or another and all I can do now is learn from it and become a better person because of the mistakes I have made and the lessons I have learn.

Alma 14:26 - " And Alma cried, saying : How long shall we suffer these great afflictions, O Lord? O Lord, give us strength according to our faith which is in Christ, even unto deliverance. And they broke the cords with which they were bound; and when the people saw this, they began to flee, for the fear of destruction had come upon them.

14:28 - And Alma and Amulek came forth out of the prison, and they were not hurt; for the Lord had granted unto them power, according to their faith which was in Christ. And they straightway came forth out of the prison; and they were loosed from their bands;

These are the words that touched me and comforted me in a moment of complete hopelessness and heartache.  I am so thankful for a mindful Lord and for all that he has blessed me with.  In this time of complete weakness I have been blessed with so much surrounding strength.  He has placed amazing, strong, and influential people in my life that know how to love me and raise me up and comfort me and protect me.  I'm thankful for parents who never stop loving and caring for me and take me in with open arms when I need a shoulder to cry on.

Through this time of weakness I have built so much strength.  I have been humbled and edified. I have never been so grateful for what I have and have never cherished the little things more than I can right now.  I know life will work itself out.  I know Heavenly Father is listening and will always have a helping hand and guiding my way.  I am thankful for this moment of strength.

gettin a head start...

I know I know I don't have kids yet... BUT since I like to pretend I'm mommy everyday I think I'm gonna start reading this book.. I hear its great and I need to read 2 books this year as one of my goals I'm trying to learn how to enjoy reading. Pretty soon I'm gonna have all the answers ;) LOL..

words can not describe how much I love this man. When I saw this picture and this quote it melted me! It goes the same for the wife as well.  When you are continually serving and caring for your spouse that love won't ever fade we are promised that!  I love how he puts it "anxious concern" makes me feel a little bit more okay and normal for my overly caring and "worry" heart.

wanted to blog about things that make me smile during the day!..

*My sweet 3 yr old Ava finally saying " I wa wa wa wa wa wa wa (she stutters bad its so cute) juice.. PLEEEZ shell?"   she used to just scream at me what she wanted and now I've taught her how she really gets what she wants.  So fun teaching and watching kids respond specially on their own.

* My piano students saying the funniest things like "My fingers are not obeying!" - Grace

* Funny or cute random texts that create that awkward smile or laugh for what seems to be no reason

* Thoughts about the future, and where my life is going right now.  I can only be so grateful everyday.

* Finding time to clean my room! YES!

* Watching my shows. Love Tuesdays when half of them are on or recorded from the previous day!

Every day is a good day when I look for the simple joys in life!

I think I'm being guided...

About 7 months ago I was having a conversation with my friend who are started nannying for who has an autistic little girl and when we were getting to know each other I mentioned I have been teaching piano lessons for 9 years, I love music and I love to sing!
       She started going on how I should really consider thinking about working with autistic kids with music therapy. That hit me and I thought YA that would be amazing and something I think I could be so good at! So I thought and thought about it and really liked the idea.... and honestly I kinda forgot about it!

Well then total randomness... I was at the nail salon and I was talking to this OLD OLD lady whose fingers are all dislocated and she went on to tell me she was a pianist and immediately we connected and had a long conversation.. She TOO asked me if I ever thought about working with autistic kids and music therapy and went on to talk about how she had twin 7 yr old grand daughters.  So we talked alot about that.

I think Heavenly Father might be telling me something! Specially since I am at a point in school where I really dont know what I want to do!  I even started talking to some of my music teachers and I think I could even get a scholarship bc of my music ability... hmmm?? Something I must think about I guess!

stripe fetish

I keep wondering when I am going to stop being obsessed and drawn to stripes but this fetish just keeps getting worse and worse.  I think I will always love and be drawn to stripes.  And I'm ready to have my own house and decorate it. Thats all.

Oh and I aint scurred to bring back WallPaper too... you better believe I will have lots of wall papered Walls!

well folks I finally got a pinterest account and this is not looking good... lets just say my head is in some serious ADD mode and I just want to start on all these projects like right now.

I am so excited for my first project.. My mom and dad have had the same crappy furniture in their room since I can even remember! I think its time that I redesign their room... BUT if I tell my mom she will refuse because she knows I love starting projects but I hate finishing them... WELP I'm here to prove you wrong! Stay tuned because this room is gonna turn into somethin else!

Bieber Fever

AAAAGGGGHH (screaming like the millions of girls who chase him) I just watch Never Say Never today for the first time... I refused to watch it thought it really couldn't be THAT good and who cares its Justin Bieber but I saw it on Netflix while babysitting today.. kids were napping.. so I decided what the heck I'm going to watch it..

Ummmm.... I LOVE JUSTIN BIEBER... I am officially obsessed! I grew a whole new level of respect for him! I never realized he had to work for over a year trying to make his name known to the world before getting radio stations to play his music.  I am so impressed with his talent and dedication! 

And I might have cried when he sang the One Less Lonely Girl Song to that cute blonde on stage. He's so sweet! 

So YES I am a proud lover of Justin Bieber.. and dont you judge!

My mind was random today... surprise..

- I think I found the cow farm that stinks up all of Gilbert and it needs to go..

- There's nothing more irritating then going for your gum needing it desperately and then realizing your brother who you let so graciously take your car, ate every piece..

- My entire facebook news feed is about my friends who just got engaged, married, or pregnant.. or seriously dating someone and almost engaged.. its all disgusting (might've said that out of jealousy)

-  I'm sick of my stomach making funny noises like its swirling liquid around and around over and over again... its embarrassing and annoying..

- Man.. I really am a good piano teacher! LOL

- Can't wait to take a long shower and bath because I have been freezing all day and I am addicted to my Paris Amour lotion that I lather on after..

- My face hurts from breaking out!

- dang you chicken nuggets the smell of you is enough to make me nautious now!

- Can we get some new and improved music preferably country music?

So I've never been a fan of canopy beds even as a little girl when every girl wants one I never really liked them.. Well now after seeing Breaking Dawn I want one! haha I kinda like this one! confession... and its disgusting

So.. yes I'm addicted to diet dr pepper FROM Sonic and only from Sonic.. BUT there might be something else I need to confess... I know its disgusting but I'm getting hooked on their dang grilled cheese sandwiches too. I REFUSE to order one for myself BUT the kids I watch are so picky and just beg to go there to get a grilled cheese so I bribe them (if they listen and have happy attitudes and do one nice thing for someone they get a grilled cheese) Of course Im easy to persuade bc i have to have their ddp.. 

So what I'm getting at is... NO I will not order one for myself but Yes I eat half of their grilled cheese (the crust because no kid will eat the crust LOL).. Help a poor girl out and stop this disgustingness! 

Yes I might be drinking 2 to 3 a day.

I found a temporary remedy for my baby hungryness syndrome.. I just started nannying my cousins cute little family because he just got into medical school! WOO HOO! and they have a 4 month baby who is only 10lbs he's so little! and such a cuddle bug.  I am so lucky.. I get to love and snuggle him all day long and get paid for it! Doesn't get any better than that!

I love that he sucks on his thumb! thats why braces were invented. I'll let the kid do it all day.

Yes babies cry and fuss and need SO much attention AND its all worth it. I even realized how much I missed the smell of baby puke! LOL but foreals.
