Momma hungry...

I feel like its a weird thing to be feeling extremely baby hungry before even being close to marriage.  But its the weirdest thing because I seriously can't get over this huge desire to just be a mom.  Everywhere I go I notice the cute babies around me and every store I go to I'm always drawn to the baby section its pathetic! haha I can't wait to be given the sacred responsibility of raising sweet kids and being a momma.  I also love this talk by President Hinckley.

and I might've googled some cute nursery themes. these were my favorites that came up! haha

I know I know I'm way out of control.

HELLO 2012

You know, sometimes all you need is twenty seconds of insane courage. Just literally twenty seconds of just embarrassing bravery. And I promise you, something great will come of it.

This is my quote for the year! I absolutely love this, its even going on a cute wood block in my room and my house someday! LOL

Goal #1:  COURAGE and BRAVERY.. no more holding back. Whats the worst that can happen? I fail? I decide its not for me? I get told No?  Oh well.. I'm going after life.

Goal #2: Make my bed every day

Goal #3: Stick to my budget plan

Goal #4: Run a marathon

Goal #5: Go to New York

Goal #6: Be in a serious relationship

Goal #7: Share my testimony once a month whether to a friend, a stranger, or in church

Goal #8: Read 3 books. (I HATE reading)

Goal #9: Reach my "realistic" goal weight.

Goal #10: Buy my own piano

Goal #11: Audition twice (for whatever)

Goal #12: Volunteer at the childrens hospital

Goal #13: Be bold and blunt with my feelings

Goal #14: Make a project out of wood

Goal #15: Record a CD

Goal #16: Read the Book of Mormon and D&C twice.

Goal #17: Learn the guitar.

Goal #18: Practice my violin again.

Goal #19: finish a stick of chapstick (stole this one bc I cant keep one for more than 3 days thought it would be a fun challenge!)

Goal #20: Write a song

I best get busy!!

Bringing in the NEW YEAR!

HAPPY NEW YEAR (high voice) Happy new year (low voice)..... "inside joke"

what an AMAZING New Years Eve night I had.  It was seriously a night that I will never forget.  So many great things happened and its wonderful how YOU literally create your own destiny.  I truly believe what you tell yourself your outcome will be is what you will get.  I told myself before going out,  I am going to let go insecurities and not worry about the judgemental world and just be ME and gosh dang it I'm done waiting around and if I see a cute boy you bet I just might get that new years kiss from him LOL.. Yep what you believe is what you get!  I have never connected with so many people.  I literally went around making intense eye contact with hundreds of people through out the night and telling them HAPPY NEW YEAR.  People couldn't help but smile back and be so friendly and open to you.  I decided its all about that eye contact! Its a scary thing for some people to keep that strong locked eye contact but the power you get from it is unreal!
Also a good experience.... at the end of the night we ran into some guys and got to know each other.. During the conversation I was having one on one with this guy I made a comment about my family and he asked me "Are you Mormon?" Foreals I got scared for a minute and could've easily lied to "get more attention (didn't want to be a turn off) but thats not what I wanted. Regardless how he would think of me I was going to share with him who I truly am.  So I sad YA! I am! and he asked if I was active and I said YES and he responded " WOW that makes you that more attractive knowing you are a good girl" THAT MADE MY NIGHT!  I needed that more than you even know.  That was a little gift from Heavenly Father.  Later I came to find out he has missionaries over often and has been investigating the church for some time. I would've never guessed! He was the BIG ripped body guard looking guy and just looked intense! (Never judge a book by its cover ;) but foreals)  If I would've given in to the adversary and had lied, we both would've missed out on an experience we both needed.

Here are some pictures from this great night!

Yes we made our way to the very front!

wiggled through all these people while saying Happy New Year with big smiles
Umm Delaina.. whats this band's name again? HAHA (acted like we were the biggest fans just for fun of course)

These people liked our plan and were rootin us on to get to the front

They are brothers and so so nice and um had good breath. :)
HAPPY NEW YEAR! a great great new years eve! and DANG IT I didn't get a picture of the guy I had that conversation with at the end... darn it.

Reflection

I was texting Delaina on New Years Eve Day and was getting so let down feeling like I had a waste of a year. I didn't accomplish anything, nothing big or exciting happened, it was just a boring non eventful year.  And I was completely annoyed, felt like I wasted an entire year just sitting, waiting around and I got so sad and mad at myself! Later when I got to think about it I realized how selfish I was being!   I was feeling so ungrateful for all the tender mercies the Lord has placed in my life and for the huge milestones I have made this year.
Even though I didn't graduate from school, or travel the world, or become super successful or get married (I know I know that should be my top priority)  I GREW as a person and I matured in so many ways.  I became more confident and more vulnerable to people and situations that I never would've opened myself up to before. I have developed a clearer view of what I ultimately want in life and sacrifices I'm willing to make to have what I want.  I'm not afraid to be me, I'm not ashamed to be me and this has helped me to be able to love myself which has now made me able to love others unconditionally as well. I have more drive then ever to accomplish great things, and to try new things, and just be involved with things going around me!  Because of what I experienced this past year, 2012 will be a dominating year and I am so excited to see what great things are in store!

As I got to thinking here are some great things that happened in 2011

* Ran a half marathon with my friend Rachelle Babcock and my brother Ryan

* Had a fun week long trip to Disney Land with my family and joined some friends on the weekend there which left great memories.

* Had the opportunity to be a counselor for the Time To Blossom girls conference for 2 weeks where I gained a stronger testimony of who I am and how to love and "blossom" as a daughter of God and also teach 20 beautiful girls their divine worth and watch them literally transform in one week.

* Had the best 4 of July where I met my bestest friend!

* Went camping with good frans!

* Had an AMAZING birthday! Went to California with Paige and then a party thrown by my friends

* Then went to Las Vegas and had a FUN trip. Experienced nearly death, exhaustion, and great cab services.

* Then went to a resort where we met Dr. Jeff, Tom and Mike who are still to this day guys we call friends.

* Then went on a hot air balloon ride for Delainas birthday

* Then bought another car, it was a huge investment and Im so grateful I had the means to do so.

* And then had a great Thanksgiving and Christmas with the family.

Some random memories have been,

* Being called Snooki one to many times.  C'mon people really?

* Sonic runs 1 to 2 times a day

* Babysitting, babysitting, and more babysitting!
* The SERIOUS attempt to move to Utah, the Lord really did not want me there.
* Moving out for a few months!
* Waiting and waiting for potential Mr. Right to come into my life... :)
* Saying Bible before and after every real serious phrase

THANK YOU 2011 for being filled with great memories!
